Jefferson represents clients in state and federal court in disputes involving claims of intellectual property infringement, unfair competition, and commercial misconduct. He also represents trademark owners in proceedings before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Outside of the office, Jefferson has taught intellectual property for video game designers at DigiPen Institute of Technology and frequently speaks to entrepreneur and artist groups on best practices to protect content, brands and trade secrets, minimize business risks, and expand product offerings through licensing, franchising, and sales. He publishes Copyright or Wrong, a blog that reports on developments in copyright law and content policy. PRESENTATIONS AND
